We recently had the pleasure of working with the team from Smith & Sons on our home extension and renovation project. Being new to building and renovating, we weren’t sure what to expect from the process or how to manage all the steps. From start to finish, Smith & Sons managed the entire process with efficiency, quality and professionalism. The results have exceeded our expectations!

We appreciated working with James during the early phases of design planning, costing and negotiating council approvals. James patiently talked us through multiple budget iterations as we planned together over the course of a year. All variations were clearly tracked and negotiated.

Mark, our project manager, communicated every step of the build, making sure we were aware of progress steps and involved where decisions needed to be made, which was often! We were even confident to go overseas twice during our build, knowing that Mark and the team were communicating and looking after our home. We were grateful there were no surprises along the way.

It’s clear that Smith & Sons have a high-functioning and well oiled team. Each trade - from carpenters, electricians, plumbers, tilers, joiners, roofers, painters etc - delivered quality work with pride and a great sense of customer service. They were a pleasure to have in our home.

(Also several of our neighbours commented on the respectfulness and professionalism of the team. This is in stark contrast to another build from a different company going on across the road!).
