A Bold and Beautiful Transformation
This renovation turned a tired, impractical bathroom into a vibrant and functional space that perfectly reflected the client’s personality. Our client, a single professional woman in her 30s, wanted a home she could truly make her own – a place to feel proud of and comfortable in.
Before the renovation, the bathroom was rough and restrictive, with no shower frame or screens, no storage, and a layout that made daily use difficult. We completely stripped it out, replaced all waterproofing, added a termite barrier, and installed new fittings and fixtures. The layout was reworked to give the washing machine a proper place and stop the door from clashing with the shower. Floor-to-ceiling tiles were added for a polished, modern look, and existing air-conditioning pipework was neatly boxed in.
While the client initially chose high-end mosaic tiles, the cost of freight and installation meant finding a local alternative. The final design features Marlin Tiles in Kenthurst Matt Black on the floor, Charming White Gloss on the walls, and Caramela Dark Green Gloss as a feature tile. Paired with Reece Plumbing fixtures, a custom vanity by Brian Long Cabinets, and LED downlights, the space is full of colour and character.
The result is a stylish, practical bathroom that feels both personal and luxurious. A true example of how smart design and collaboration can transform a challenging space into something special.
