Family Home Transformed with Luxe Renovations
Before our team of builders entered the picture, this home was a late 90s build in good condition. The family, a young family of five was outgrowing their beloved home and seeing as upgrading to a larger home was out of the picture, a renovation was the option best suited for this family.
With only one shared bathroom among them, the family faced discomfort, particularly as the children entered their formative teenage years. Recognising the necessity for change, our clients articulated their primary goal: the addition of an ensuite to streamline family life and provide the parents with a tranquil retreat. The scope of our renovation project included the creation of this ensuite, alongside a revamp of the main bathroom, toilet, and laundry areas. Specific design considerations were crucial to fit all new areas in the already existing home given the constraints of a slab-on-ground foundation. Implementing our comprehensive Design-Plan-Construct (DPC) approach, our team devised a solution, repurposing portions of the hallway and main bathroom to carve out space for the much-needed ensuite.
Stepping into these revitalised spaces, you are greeted by a fusion of modern aesthetics and functionality. Consistency with cohesive colour schemes and carefully curated fixtures throughout. Our clients' preference for a timeless, neutral palette guided the selection process, resulting in enduring choices that promise longevity. Partnering with Reece Plumbing, we sourced premium appliances and fittings from their Posh range, ensuring both quality and sophistication.
In the main bathroom, the Base Vanity basin and Mizu fixtures, complemented by the Posh Domaine Twin Rail shower head, display understated elegance. Meanwhile, the addition of a Base Acrylic Bath offers a sanctuary for relaxation, fitted with Gastone Carrara tiles that give a crisp, polished finish.
Transitioning to the ensuite, the same flow and design is evident, with a seamless integration of Base Vanity Basin, Mizu, and Posh range elements. Collaborating with Desire Interiors for cabinetry and vanities, we opted for Syrus stone flooring and Vast cell white gloss Seamless cabinetry to cultivate an atmosphere of refined luxury. Flowing effortlessly from the main bathroom, Gastone Carrara tiles continue to feature on the floor, lending visual continuity to the space. In the laundry area, practicality takes precedence without compromising on style. Ample storage solutions, courtesy of Desire Interiors, ensure organisational ease, while Gastone Carrara tiles underfoot provide timeless elegance.
