When I was dealing with the very large construction companies, most were able to do a good job, with slight strengths in various areas. For me however the big differentiator was in how they dealt with problems. Everyone has them at some stage and they may be a source of loss on that particular job, but are part of the whole. The very top companies accepted this and treated the "problem" like any of their high profit making jobs, what ever the size.
You did this for our small job and I highly commend you and your team for it.
