Union – Home Renovation

A leaking shower and significant water damage were the starting point for this whole-home transformation in Katandra West.

What began with the bathroom quickly became an opportunity to give the entire home a much-needed refresh. Working closely with the homeowners, we designed the renovation ourselves and delivered the project in stages, allowing them to remain living in the home throughout construction.

The bathroom was opened up by incorporating the existing built-in toilet area, creating a more spacious and functional layout. In the kitchen, we introduced a central island bench and a more free-flowing design, complemented by stone splashbacks and a statement freestanding oven and cooktop.

Throughout the rest of the home, new engineered timber flooring, updated windows, paintwork and robe doors helped bring the bedrooms and living spaces together.

The finished home has a warm, country-inspired feel, combining the comfort of a homely interior with more luxurious finishes. Stone benchtops, two-pack painted shaker cabinetry, feature subway tiling and a freestanding bath set on a raised platform add character and a sense of luxury without losing the warmth of the home.

Having worked with these homeowners previously, we were trusted to take on the renovation as a complete project — creating a home that feels comfortable, inviting and distinctly theirs.
