A Stylish Transformation for Everyday Living

What began as a dated and underutilised bathroom, ensuite and laundry area has been transformed into a modern, functional and beautifully cohesive space tailored to the client’s everyday needs. The single homeowner wanted to modernise the tired bathrooms, which featured small showers, unused space and a spa bath that no longer suited her lifestyle. 

 

The goal was to create a better flow, maximise the available space and introduce practical storage without compromising on style. The bathrooms underwent a complete transformation, including new floor and wall tiles, contemporary fixtures and fittings, open showers and a more user-friendly back-to-corner freestanding bath. Built-in shower niches and a tiled seat were incorporated to provide convenient storage and additional functionality, while careful consideration of the layout ensured each space was easy and enjoyable to use. The laundry was also refreshed with new floor tiles and a feature backsplash, bringing a consistent and considered finish throughout. 

 

A sophisticated palette of black fixtures, fittings and basins creates a contemporary feel, complemented by Palazzo Travertine Silver Matt wall and floor tiles and striking Soleil White Matt feature tiles. The 1200 x 600mm textured feature tile adds visual interest and character, while the built-in niche above the bath provides a practical yet stylish finishing touch. 

 

The standout aspect of the renovation is the combination of the feature tiles and carefully selected colour palette, resulting in a fresh, timeless and highly functional transformation that makes the most of every space.
