Welcome to Smith & Sons Oatley – your local design and build home renovation specialists.
My name is Kane Rayner, and alongside my wife Bec, we are the proud owners of Smith & Sons Oatley. I am a local, licensed builder with over 22 years of experience in the construction industry and a passion for transforming homes.
Here at Smith & Sons Oatley, we understand that renovating can be stressful, so we have made it our mission to make the process as simple and smooth as possible for our clients. For this reason, we offer an integrated design and build service that allows us to manage renovation projects from concept to completion.
In the initial consultation, we will work with you to understand what you are trying to achieve and within what budget. This allows us to alleviate the common issue whereby an architect or draftsperson provides plans for a project that when quoted by a builder, far exceed the client’s budget.
Once the plans and quote are finalised, we seek all the approvals necessary to bring your plans to life. Being locals and working primarily in the Georges River Council area, we understand what it takes to get this done efficiently and effectively.
Finally, the fun can begin! We have partnered with a range of suppliers including Harvey Norman Commercial Division, Bunnings Warehouse and Hardware & General, to bring you a range of high-quality products at competitive prices during the selections process. Of course, if you have a different supplier in mind, we will be more than happy to work with them.
When it comes to bringing your project to life, our team of licensed builders and carpenters will work alongside reputable tradespeople to ensure it is completed to the highest standard. Throughout this process, we will respect your home and communicate any updates with you along the way. From concept to completion, we make renovating easy!
Whether you are thinking of adding a second-storey to your home for your growing family, creating an open plan living area with a new kitchen to entertain your friends, or simply building a new deck to make the most of Sydney's beautiful weather, we are the team to talk to. We do renovations and extensions, and we do them well.
We specialise in:
- Home extensions
- Second-storey additions
- External renovations
- Internal renovations
- Kitchen renovations
- Bathroom renovations
- Laundry renovations
- Decks, pergolas and outdoor areas
